About the project
Our client want to create a single product store for a cool projector that can transform your bedroom's ceiling in a vision of galaxies.
The design should be inspired by the skies at night and we should add an option to automatically add an affiliate link through a button if a future product
should be sold through affiliate marketing.
The client also insisted to have reviews integrated to the store, different plug type variants (US and EU) and
custom FAQ and wholesale pages to make it easier for companies to reach out and buy in bigger quantities.
Problem
The store will only list one product but should be as interactive and appealing as possible to grab the customer's attention. We should make it easier for the store owner to maintain affiliate links for future products, have access to reviews, and create custom FAQ and wholesale pages as requested.
Solution
We will use a few sections with beautiful images on the homepage to stoke the customer's curiosity and
make them interested in our product. We will use Liquid templating language to check if the product tags contains an affiliate
link and in the case, we should hide the "add to cart" and "buy now" button and show a "find on Amazon" button instead.
The custom FAQ and wholesale pages will be created using JSON and Liquid, and styled with CSS.
Let's take a look at the results
On the homepage, the customer is transported to the galaxies with a beautiful night sky photography and call to action button asking them to shop for our product. The rest of the homepage contains a few images, a testimonials section and a review carroussel at the bottom.
On the product page we added different color variants and pulg in types for different market regions.
We also integrated a review app so that customer could easily say what they think of our product.
Our client requested the option to include affiliate links to some of their future products and we integrated this options, making ot easily maintainable using product tags. Every product with the "affiliate" tag will automatically display a button with the corresponding link embedded.
We implemented a beautiful custom FAQ page with sliding answers in a classic design.
And as our client want to grow their business exponencially, we included a wholesale page with a special contact form to make it easy for businesses to reach out. It looks great!
And of course, our store is mobile friendly, because providing a premium experience is a must no matter what device is being used. We were very pleased with the results.
